Policy
Cookie policy
There are three, and two of them are strictly necessary. There is no advertising on this site, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels and no cross-site identifiers of any kind — so declining the optional one costs you a remembered preference and nothing else.

1The short version
Cookies and similar technologies are regulated in the United Kingdom by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. Anything that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for needs your consent first.
Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set on this site before you make a choice, and nothing at all is set for advertising or measurement, whether you accept or not.
2Every cookie, by name
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| perwear_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in between page loads and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session, or 30 days if you choose to stay signed in | Not required — the service cannot work without it |
| perwear.cookie-choice | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so you are not asked again. Stored in your browser's local storage rather than sent to the server. | Until you clear it | Not required — it exists to record your choice |
| perwear_prefs | Optional — functional | Remembers interface preferences such as your default wearing frequency and ownership horizon, so you do not re-enter them each visit. | 180 days | Set only if you accept optional cookies |
Third parties set nothing on this site. The payment processor sets its own cookies on its own pages during checkout, under its own policy; you are told when you are leaving.
3How consent works here
Accept and reject are given equal standing
The banner offers Accept optional cookies and Reject optional cookies side by side, at the same level, in the same size, weight and colour treatment. Neither is styled to be the easier choice, neither is pre-selected, and rejecting takes exactly as many actions as accepting — one.
Refusing does not restrict access to any part of the site, and you are not asked again unless you clear the choice yourself.

5Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in, because the session cannot be held.
What we do with the data behind these cookies is covered in the privacy policy. Questions to support@corgihosiery.shop.
